In the province of Savona there are the following recognized wine denominations: DOC "Riviera Ligure di Ponente" and IGT "Colline Savonesi", which include the following wines: Vermentino, Pigato,  Granaccia,  Lumassina, Rossese.
Pigato and Vermentino are dry white wines. Rossese is a more or less intense ruby ​​red  dry wine.
The wines Pigato, Vermentino, Rossese included in the DOC  "Riviera Ligure di Ponente" may be given the geographic sub-denominations "Finale" if obtained exclusively from grapes produced in the Finalese area.
