Fried pumpkin flowers
Ingredients:
- Courgette flowers
- Ricotta cheese
- Parmigiano Reggiano cheese
- Ham, finely chopped
- Chopped mozzarella
- Salt and pepper
- Oil for frying
To prepare the batter:
- Water
- Yeast
- Flour
- A spoon of beer
Preparation;
Prepare the batter and let stand for about an hour. Wash the flowers outside and inside, dry them. Prepare the mixture with the ricotta cheese, the ham cut into small pieces, salt, pepper mozzarella cut into small pieces. Mix them all together.
Fill the flowers with the mixtuire, closing them well in the tip, slightly flour them and dip in batter. Fry them in abundant hot oil, drain them and pass them on absorbent paper. Add salt to taste and serve.
