From Finalpia you can reach the old village of Calvisio, dominated by the Church of San Cipriano: you'll enjoy a splendid view of the valley down to the sea. The Church is at the center of the characteristic old part of the village of Calvisio, called "Lacremà".

Back on the provincial road, go on  and take the road that climbs up to Verzi. After a few minutes you will intersect the Via Julia Augusta.
Leave the car and continue on foot. After a few steps you'll se the Menhir and then you can go on and reach Val Ponci.

After a relaxing walk along Via Julia Augusta, if you go back by car you can  reach St. Gennaro's Church.

Back in the Sciusa river valley, along the main road it is possible to drive further into the valley. Along the road,  you can leave the car near a small bridge and take a path leading to a steep and rocky area. Many rocky trails can be attractive for well-equipped  hikers.
