The village of Calvisio is not far from Finalpia. The newer part is located on the right bank of the river Sciusa, where there is the present parish church, built in neo-medieval style. Higher up there is the ancient inhabited hamlet, called "Lacremà", which means burnt in the local dialect, because of its destruction due to fire. A Lacremà, from the picturesque ruins of the old St. Cipriano's Church you will enjoy a beautiful view of Finapia.

Calvisio retains large deserted houses, made of stone of the Finale, called "casazze".
