Archaeological Museum of Finale
Since 1931
The Archaeological Museum of Finale, recently reorganized in the Monumental Complex of Santa Caterina in Finalborgo, is managed since 1931 by the Institute of Ligurian Studies International.
The exhibition, through archaeological finds, reconstructions, dioramas and scenic settings, allows you to discover the features of the Finale from prehistoric times until today.
The teaching laboratories of Experimental Archaeology are available for schools and the public of children. Besides carrying out intensive research, the Museum has created, with the Archaeology Superintendent of Liguria, the initiative "Archeotrekking Finale", a series of itineraries and guided tours to archaeological sites that are not accessible.
