Archaeological Museum of Finale
The Archaeological Museum of Finale, recently reorganized in the Monumental Complex of Santa Caterina in Finalborgo, is managed since 1931 by the Institute of Ligurian Studies International.
The exhibition, through archaeological finds, reconstructions, dioramas and scenic settings, allows you to discover the features of the Finale from prehistoric times until today.
The teaching laboratories of Experimental Archaeology are available for schools and the public of children. Besides carrying out intensive research, the Museum has created, with the Archaeology Superintendent of Liguria, the initiative "Archeotrekking Finale", a series of itineraries and guided tours to archaeological sites that are not accessible.
From Tuesday 27 April 2021, the Archaeological Museum of Finale is open from Tuesday to Friday, from 9.00 to 12.00 and from 14.30 to 17.00 without reservation.
On Saturdays the Museum is open exclusively with guided tours by appointment (tel. 019 690020 during the Museum's opening hours by the previous Friday) at 9.15 am and 10.30 am.
