Salone Agroalimentare Ligure
It is a gastronomic event that takes place every year in Finalborgo in the cloisters of St Caterina during springtime.
It is an important appointment with the local tradition concerning food and local products, which in 2015 was included in the schedule of the side events of the the Expo in Milan.
The location of Salone dell’Agroalimentare Ligure has always been the prestigious monumental building of the cloisters of St. Caterina in Finalborgo, but it also includes all the small squares and streets of Finalborgo, the old part of Finale Ligure which belongs to the Club of “the Nicest Nillages of Italy”.
It is an event which aims to enhance the Ligurian territory, culture and tradition through its regional culinary peculiarities and its local products. It is divided in two parts:
The exhibition, where the local cooperatives and small producers present and sell their products that are always characterized by a high level of quality;
a program including cultural initiatives: cooking shows, meetings, etc.
Salone Agroalimentare aims to satisfy both the consumers, who have at their disposal a very varied range of products accessible through the visit to the exhibition and through all the side-events scheduled, and the business operators, who are given the opportunity to enter in contact with local associations and cooperatives.
Is a special event, in which a place full of history like Finalborgo meets the enogastronomic local culture.
The Exhibition is open on the first day just in the afternoon from 4pm to 8pm and during the other days from 10am to 20pm.Free entrance.
