Cave Arene Candide
Archaeological site in cave in which several findings and evidence from the Palaeolithic period have been found (about 40 thousand years ago) until the Bizantine Age (VI-VII century. A.D.). Among the important archaeological remains found in more than 150 years of research, it highlights burials and numerous objects and traces of daily activities of the Neolithic period (VI-V millennium BC).
The cave of Arene Candide offers a very extensive documentation for the quality and the quantity of the data.
Openings and guided tours
After the great success of the public in the two summer months, the Arene Candide Cave will also be open from October to December 2019 every first and third Saturday of the month by reservation.
