The GSL Arturo Issel, which celebrates the ninetieth anniversary of its foundation in 2022, has also operated in the territory of the municipality of Finale Ligure for many decades and still carries out continuous study and speleological research in this municipality. Among the most significant contributions of the past are the discovery of the Grotta Superiore Sorgente Priamara, the connection between Arma Pollera and Arma do Buio and the studies on the Risorgenza del Mulino dell'Acquaviva. Currently the group is actively involved throughout the Finale area in close collaboration with the local Grotte Borgio Verezzi Group (CAI Finale Ligure Section).
