Varigotti
The seaside surrounded by the typical colored houses
Varigotti is a seaside resort, a typical "borgo saraceno" and "borgo marinaro"(Saracen village, as well as once a fishing village), characterized by bright coloured houses on the waterfront and a wonderful sea which has made Varigotti a popular tourist destination, however characterized by a peaceful atmosphere. Once indipedent municipality, in 1927 it became part of Finale Ligure. Not to be missed the beach known as “Baia dei Saraceni”, one of the most picturesque beaches of the Ligurian Riviera, surrounded by rocks and wild nature.
The small pier is dedicated to the art director Renato Castellani, born in Varigotti.
